Since opening its doors in 1996, the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at UC Santa Barbara has become recognized as one of the top graduate programs of environmental study in the nation.

of environmental challenges.
The faculty comprises of highly respected leaders from a
range of disciplines, who are engaged in both theoretical and applied
research and have extensive experience in
approaching environmental
science from management and/or policy perspectives.
