About the Program
The Bren School has an excellent and comprehensive Career Development Program that is designed to help students become highly sought after applicants and effective environmental professionals. The Program is committed to helping students develop short-term and long-term career goals, acquire professional experience, and develop effective job search and career development skills.
The Program is a six-step process in which students develop a strong commitment to career development, assess skills and environmental career interests, sharpen their job search skills, obtain professional experience, locate satisfying career positions, and maintain strong professional ties to the Bren School through an Alumni Network.
The Bren School Career Development Program provides students with personally tailored assistance. Under the direction of David Parker, Director of Career Development, students can receive individual and group assistance on any career-related topic or issue.
Active participation in the Career Development Program is expected of all MESM students, and is a crucial element in securing a satisfying career upon graduation.
