Quick Access Tips
To quickly find a database entry (ie event by title, person by last name, course by number, etc.), place the cursor in the field to search by and click on the Find button in the menu. Be sure to Match Any Part of the Field unless you know the exact text for the field.
To quickly sort by a different field (ie event by title, or person by first name, or course by title, etc.), place the cursor in the field to sort by and click on the Sort By Ascending or Sort By Descending button in the menu.
To update to the latest database, have all instances of the database closed and double-click on the Update Bren Admin DB desktop shortcut. If you don't already have this shortcut, please see the other Instructions to Updating Your Bren Admin Database.
- You can add formatting to descriptions and notes, etc, such as bold, italics and linking. Just apply HTML Formatting to the database entry that shows on the web.
