William R. Freudenburg, Affiliated Faculty, Professor – Environmental Studies

William Freudenberg is an affiliated faculty member who is also a professor in UC Santa Barbara’s undergraduate Environmental Studies Program. He is known both for his work on coupled environment-society systems in general and on more specific topics, including resource-dependent communities, the social impacts of environmental and technological change, and risk analysis.
